I love #cheese, and thanks to having had a few chef boyfriends, I have a great love, respect, and interest in how #food is crafted, so I was excited to see that whole process at the #Emscha #CheeseDairy in the @biosphaere_entlebuch. Having said that though, while I wanted to #taste the cheese, I was a little bit wary that it would not be for me. You see, Emscha is a #SheepCheese #Dairy and I was a bit worried that sheep cheese would taste like goat cheese, which is not my favourite and leaves me feeling ill. Boy was I wrong!

The whole experience was WONDERFUL! I am absolutely blown away by the amazingly #sustainable work that #EmschaSchafmilchgenuss is doing creating uber #localcheese in the #Entlebuch. What I learned from Simon would have made for a fascinating episode of #NaturallyOurs. Spent the whole time wishing that @niceladyproductions was with me, filming an episode for us. And WOW are their #SheepDairy #milk, #yogurt, #quarkcheese and #cheese ever #yummy!
Here is me #tasting #SheepMilk for the first time. So, so good that I decide to take a sample of sheep dairy products to a dinner party that evening, rather than wine. Both Kelly and I decided it was so good, as it is much creamier than cow’s milk.
Now to see if I can find it in Canada, and if Canadian sheep dairy is as good as the Emscha Dairy in the #biosphäreentlebuch. #inLOVEwithSwitzerland #myLucerne #swisstravel #foodie #foodietravel #sustainableliving #sustainableagriculture #sustainablefarming #localfood #eatlocal
